Blessed Day :)
Never felt this much like a team till today :)
Grateful for good games though we lost most of it, for the team dinner afterwards, and for that little chance to share a bit about Christ :) I really hope Mr Alan Tan will manage to convince Coach to let the juniors play in A divs next year - it’ll be such a revolution to SH Tennis!
Also, stepping down at the end of the term seems so surreal...
"You give and take away"
The thought of potentially losing someone dear to me caught me off-guard. I don’t know where the thought came from, but it led to me thinking of Grandma’s death, of how I nearly lost Dad, of the many friends that have come and gone. It scares me how you could love someone so much one second, have them taken away from you the next and be left there alone wondering what’s next;...
If grace has really changed our hearts, we don’t ultimately care if life goes...

Living for God
1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. 2 As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. 3For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness,...
Oh, and I’m sorry for the really cutting words in yesterday’s post. I don’t believe that you deserve them. I shouldn’t have made it seem like it was all your fault, because like I said before, it’s not.
I’m sorry; I hope you’re alright :/
Really, sorry.
Edit: I do trust you now. I’m sure of it :)
Running
In every run, there are points where you feel motivated to improve and run faster; points where you start to feel the physical exertion and slow down slightly to pace yourself, maybe even slow down to a walk; points where you’re so tired and seem so far from the end point, so much so that you just want to give up and stop the run altogether. But today, I found out that there’s another...

My insecurities ate me up tonight.
Funny how one conversation can change a whole relationship and how one thought can tint the way every single action is viewed. If it sucked then, it sure sucks even more now because I care about you so much so that I don’t want you to hate yourself over it. Despite my hurt, I don’t want you to be hurt, really. You do mean that much to me. I want to...
The perfect rainy day song today:
” ‘Cause it’s you and me and all of the people with nothing to do
Nothing to lose
And it’s you and me and all other people
And I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you
One of the things that I want to say just aren’t coming out right
I’m tripping on words
You’ve got my head spinning
I...
Thankful to have been able to Facetime and Whatsapp my best friend(s) today :) That is all :)
Faith
Being certain of what God’s plan is for you, and trusting that no matter what circumstance you are in God’s plan will make all things work out in the end.
Had a lovely lunch with my favorite girls today. Fish & Co. were really generous with the food (and water!), and I’m sure the servers loved us because we are rather entertaining customers ^^ And the best part was window shopping and commenting on all the clothes, what we’ll buy when we’re rich and what only looks good on the mannequin… I missed these times :’)

“You Do All Things Well” and “Majesty of Heaven” kept playing back to back on shuffle today and these two parts never failed to jump out:
“You made it all, said “Let there be”, and there was all that we see.
The sound of Your voice, the works of Your hands; You do all things well”
and
“All things you hold together. Your name will stand...
You made it all, said let there be and there was all that we see.
